Short Curriculum

Born in 1980 in Athens and raised in the Aegean island of Icaria. Studied physics (BSc) and computational physics (MSc) at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Subsequently moved to Athens and Berlin as a PhD scholar. Obtained PhD in Physics, for studies of synchronization in complex systems, under the supervision of Prof. A. Provata at NCSR “Demokritos”. Started postdoctoral research under Prof A. S. Mikhailov at Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society in Berlin and continue under Prof. A. Dίaz-Guilera at University of Barcelona. Currently work as researcher with Prof. Gustavo Deco at the Computational Neuroscience group at the University Pompeu Fabra.
